Frank Farina was a beloved local musician, entrepreneur and Director of Bands at North Allegheny for over 25 years.
After he passed, the Farina Foundation was created to continue his vision of ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn to play an instrument. Ultimately, refurbished instruments are given to children who cannot afford to rent or purchase one of their own, or music departments at the hundreds of underserved schools in the Tri-State Area. The NPSB is a proud supporter of the Farina Foundation.
